A steadicam is a device that makes the movement of your camera more steady. This is another method out of many that makes your camera movement more steady. Well this is a pole 3 feet long and in the bottom thear is waights that will balence you camera out. Putting your hand in the right place of the pole makes the counter balence work. The point of this blog is not to tell you about the steadicam but how you should use it. If you don't have the money to buy a $4,000 steadicam like me then I advice you to make one for about $30. Look for the directions on youtube or google. When you make your steadicam its not going to be as good as a $4K one. The way you walk while you film with the steadicam is what makes all the difrence. By going with the flow of the steadicam and bending a little your knees you can bounce your knees up when you want the make the camera go up instead of using your hands.
